Fuckables: Better Start Counting

Fuckables asks for an honest headcount, not a public one. Look round the room, silently score who you'd fancy, and take a drink for every name that makes the cut. Nobody else checks the maths — there's no confession involved, just a number, and only you know how you landed on it.

At a real table this is a quiet wedge inside a loud game. Someone throws, reads it out, and for a second everyone's eyes do a slow lap of the room instead of the table. It's harmless on a night out with people you've just met. It gets interesting fast in a shared flat, or the second an ex or a partner happens to be sat three feet away — suddenly the count matters a lot more than the drinking does.

The honest move: pick a number and don't narrate it. Talking through your reasoning is what turns a private tally into a public one, and that's usually where it goes wrong — not the drink, the running commentary. Other half in the room? Round down and let it go. Nobody's actually cross-checking.
