Rewind: Theres No Escaping This One
“Whoever had a drink in the last round, take another! ⏪”
Rewind doesn't care about the thrower at all. It reaches back one throw, finds whoever just had a drink — from the last forfeit, or just their own glass — and sends them straight back in. No exemptions, no half-measures: drank last round, drink again now.
Round a real table it plays out as a scramble of memory. Someone points, someone else laughs before they've clocked it's aimed at them, and there's always one person insisting theirs was "barely a sip" while the table overrules them anyway. It gets messier when two people drank last round — the group has to decide on the spot whether it's a repeat for one or for both, and that call needs making fast, before everyone forgets who actually went first.
The honest fix is agreeing the rule before the first dart's even thrown: "had a drink" means anything that touched lips, no carve-outs for a small sip versus a proper mouthful. Rewind's whole trick is speed — argue the definition and you've killed the moment it's built for.
It sits out in the 4th Circle, one of twenty different wedges on the board's outer ring, so a fair few throws can pass before it turns up again. By the time it does, there's usually a queue of people it could be pointing at.
18+ on the Party side. Every forfeit swaps for a sip or a dare, and the pub-safe Social side skips the booze entirely.
