Dancing Queen: Crown Or No Crown

Dancing Queen doesn't put the thrower on the spot so much as hand them the stage. They pick a move, everyone else at the table has to copy it there and then, and once the room's finished flailing, the thrower judges who did it best. That person gets crowned Dancing Queen, and the actual prize is power: they get to hand someone else a drink.

At a real table this splits into two camps fast. Someone treats it like an audition and pulls out a genuinely good move, chasing the crown properly. Someone else picks the hardest, most ridiculous shape they can make with their body purely so nobody can copy it cleanly, and the whole room ends up in some version of the splits, laughing too hard to finish. The row always comes after: whoever gets crowned, at least one person swears it should've been them.

If you're throwing, resist crowning your favourite outright — it's the fastest way to get called out mid-round. Judge the actual attempt. If you're copying, commit fully rather than accurately; a confident bad version of the move reads better across a living room than a technically correct one done half-heartedly. Win the crown and spend the drink-power wisely — you'll want the goodwill back next time someone else lands here.

It sits out in the 4th Circle, the outermost ring on the board. Twenty different wedges live out there with no repeats, but it's also the widest band going, so it tends to catch more of the loose, second-drink throws than the tighter rings closer to the middle.
